Right from my school days, I developed a strong interest in phonetics. This made me to even make a personal effort towards acquiring more knowledge in this subject. I took a special interest in understanding the rudiments and the rules. And this I always try to make my students understand.

I have handled elementary/nursery pupils on Phonetics both in classroom lessons and in-home lessons. I have taught in a Primary school as a Primary 1 class teacher. I teach my students how to know the pronunciation sounds for different vowels and consonants. I use different words to give examples and equally indicate exceptions where they exist. I make them say after me, as I pronounce these words making sure the right sound and stress pattern is used.

Children are capable of learning fast when a practical and fun approach is used in teaching them; hence, I have always achieved great results with them.
