Basic Computer science involves teaching the students the importance of computers. This is achieved by explaining to them the application of the computer to our everyday activities. When the foundation is very strong, you can have the mightiest structure on it but if it is very weak, even a column will collapse on such foundation. Many students I have come across were only exposed to the menace of computer science in their early years rather than it's importance to society.

My over 10 years’ experience in tutoring and a diploma in Computer Engineering generally has really helped me to understand the foundational courses and required skills associated with basic computer science and how to equip students better. I realize that to build a foundation, you need to build and develop student interest first. My teaching style is tailored to take my students through the foundation first before delving into some advanced areas for better understanding.

I ensure that I explained in the language of the student having in mind the time factor to solve the question.
