I am a passionate General Mathematics tutor with a strong love for the subject and a natural ability to make Mathematics simple, understandable, and engaging for learners. I am well-versed in the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum and understand the importance of developing both conceptual understanding and practical problem-solving skills. I recognise that many students find Mathematics intimidating because they perceive it as difficult or complicated. My approach is to break down challenging concepts into clear, manageable steps and introduce simple, easy-to-remember methods that help students understand and retain what they learn.

My lessons cover essential areas of General Mathematics, including arithmetic, algebra, fractions, decimals, percentages, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, probability, graphs, equations, word problems, and mathematical reasoning. For learners following the IB curriculum, I focus on developing conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, mathematical communication, and the ability to apply knowledge to unfamiliar problems. I use practical examples, step-by-step explanations, guided practice, and carefully selected exercises, while adapting lessons to each learner’s level, pace, and specific academic needs.

My priority is to help every learner achieve strong mathematical understanding, improved problem-solving ability, and measurable academic progress. Through consistent practice, revision, feedback, and targeted support, I help students strengthen weak areas and become more confident in tackling mathematical problems independently. Whether a learner is struggling with foundational concepts or preparing for IB Mathematics and other academic assessments, I provide patient and structured guidance that makes Mathematics easier to understand, easier to remember, and ultimately more enjoyable.
