Phonics: This is a method of teaching pupils how to read based on the sounds of the letters.
Phonetics: The study of speech sounds and how they are produced.
Diction: This is the manner of expression. It involves the accent, intonation and speech sound quality manifested by a speaker using the prevailing standards of expression.

Often times, the terms above are frequently confused or misused. However, they are distinct even though they work concurrently.

Without mincing words, my diction in British English is unique. I have had the privilege of helping preprimary pupils learn how to read and write using phonics and the Montessori method combined. My skill in this area has made teaching how to read easier and faster. More so, pupils in the lower, upper primary and secondary classes have been helped to improve their diction, pronunciation, intonation and elocution skills due to my proficiency in this field.

I have taught diction at various schools such as the Navy Primary School, Borikiri Rivers state and in various private lessons. In fact, I'm poised to provide contacts of parents and staffers who highly speak of my services and recommend them.

With humility, I'll say I'm the right phonics/ Diction instructor your kid/ ward needs. My versatility in English language, writing, phonics, and Diction makes me invaluable. Not excluding also, is my skill in the art and act of teaching, which my students in the past and present have appreciated because they are able to learn in a relaxed state. What I require from parents and students is diligence, commitment, and consistency to make my work a success.
