Quantitative reasoning is a better concept for solving Algebra. Learning about quantitative reasoning may also help in solving non-mathematical problems. This is through the development of their reasoning and mental skills like mental mathematics and complex mathematical concepts like division.
I have a qualification in teaching mathematics using the Montessori method which involves hands-on activities and mental reasoning which can be applied to quantitative classes.
My learners have had over 70% development in the subject due to the unique way of teaching: involving the learners and also bringing objectivity to the lessons through objectifying of questions etc.
I have tutored many learners and they have excelled greatly in the subject.
