Further Mathematics

I have been a Further math tutor for more than 5 years for middle school through graduating college seniors. Here's why I think you should hire me as your tutor:

Empathy: I have been there, I have struggled with that class, I can understand what exactly about a particular problem/concept is tough.
Despite the fact that on the outside, tutoring seems like an easy transfer of knowledge from one person to the other, it's also really emotional. Students are scared about their grades and their futures. they want someone to sit next to them and say, "I know how you feel, you can do this, you are going to be successful." Especially in math, where students come into a session assuming that because they "have always sucked at math," they will never get it.

In many cases, math students struggle from these kinds of internal mental blocks more than the actual level of difficulty.

A new system of approaching a problem: I have different ways to explain what precisely is meant by the term "derivative" or "amplitude," etc. so they can better understand the motives behind a formula. Students come to tutoring because they don't understand their teacher's examples; I try to give them as many different examples and explanations as it takes for something to click. In this process, my knowledge of the subject and that of the student will get much deeper as well.

Understanding: I listen carefully to the students, understand the student's raw back and try to find the problem. I try to find out if there is backlog which creates the problem for the student in the previous lesson. If any student pretends that she/he has understood the lesson, I evaluate his / her knowledge of the chapter. And moreover, I don't underestimate my students or compare with anyone. Cause my students does not have knowledge about the chapters so he or she has come to me. To clear their doubts and get good marks, I always try to encourage them and give credit if he/she does something good.
