Agricultural science to me is a practical class and not just theoretical.
It can be taught, understood and brilliantly passed. Also it is meant to encourage or make us understand what it takes to have the single plate of food on your table. Or know where they all come from.

I like the students to see if possibly for themselves how they can also help in the food chain production l. How they can help to protect their environment. How they can train and even have their own egg production factory at the back of their house and probably save mummy the money of Christmas chicken at times.
Took some students to a meteorological station to see the different weather tools and how this can affect agriculture production. That experience made them to soar in their WASSCE exams and appreciate their family farms better.
The lower primary children learnt about being responsible through our class projects. It's always fun too!
