My experience as an English language teacher has been impacting and interesting. I make sure I work towards bringing innovation, interaction, independent thinking and, interdependence Imagination into the 4 basic elements that make up the English Language( Grammar, Comprehension, Speaking and Listening and Writing) thereby making the pupil/student sound in this subject area.

My imaginative approach in this subject helps the children to create new ideas and make them take lively participation in the class. Albert Einstein says that "imagination is more important than knowledge". This approach has helped me to teach language skill interestingly and effectively. It has also helped to develop my students' creative self-expression.

Being innovative and interactive when teaching the English language as a subject has helped my students to dare to be different and unique when it comes to storytelling or deducing answers from a comprehension passage. Interacting with my students has also helped to empower and help them develop their communication skills. I motivate my students, create opportunities for them to interact with one another through communication and entertainment activities such as role-plays, groups discussions, mock interviews, educative videos, etc.

I also encourage my students to write legibly and beautifully because good handwriting is always a joy to read. I make use of handwriting materials to achieve this aim.

Finally, I'm a teacher of English who is imaginative, innovative, interactive, independent and interdependent. I engage the children with activities that will make them not only to love but also, excel in the subject. I try as much as possible to be flexible to reinforce learning because children tend to learn more and quickly especially when learning is done in a fun way. I use everything around me to teach even real-life scenarios/experiences. This helps the children to learn better and faster.

Teaching Curriculum: Nigerian, British

Teaching with the British curriculum makes education and learning interesting. Subjects are not been taught in abstract i.e you teach making use of necessary materials to reinforce learning. The British curriculum also considers that children learn in different pace and still achieve desired result.
