Basic Mathematics

Mathematics requires learning some important basic skills. The four basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division must be learnt thoroughly. Factors and multiples are also taught then the rudiments of fractions and decimals are done. The application of percentages, proportion and ratios including geometry and mensuration will follow. Practice of word problems is also vital as this will enhance the mental ability of pupils.
