Basic Technology as a subject is versatile in its scope of application.
Ever wondered what this subject is all about?
"Basic" and "Technology" are two distinctive words brought together to form this inseparable whole. ''Basic'' has to do with the fundamentals in respect to scientific theories. "Technology" on the other hand is the application of these theories. Basic Technology is a subject that requires not just exposure to textual contents, rather, balance must be striked between theory and practical; and that's simply what I do. This subject exposes people to various technological principles, practices, and discoveries. Amidst its disposition to equip people who undertake it with versatile knowledge of electrical/electronics technology, woodwork technology, automobile technology, building technology, metalwork technology, fine and applied arts, and technical drawing, it also prepare people who wish to undertake various engineering courses extensively. Comprehensive knowledge of this subject is highly encouraged as it goes a long way in moulding a "self-reliant"generation and future technicians/ engineers.
