I have a passion for and interest in relating with and teaching young children. This is born out of my love for kids and the fact that their greatness and success as adults depends largely on the knowledge they acquire as kids. I have been trained on the use of the Montessori and British curricula, with a three year teaching experience.
For teaching preschoolers, I adopt the Montessori system which emphasizes the use of concrete materials. I make use of concrete materials such as moveable letters, shapes and numbers, legos, and educative games and applications to illustrate a topic or concept - this makes learning fun and easy. For the graders, I like to give them challenging tasks at the end of every lesson because this helps to build up a stronger memory and increase their ability to be self-reliant. I have taught preschoolers, graders and secondary school students.
I am up-to-date with the textbooks (Nigeria and British) and also open to use any material you desire. I aim at helping you or your ward in excelling in this subject area. It will be exciting to work with your little champion, so let's get started!!
