More than 10 years experience

I have been in charge of this course vocabulary development for quite number of years now.

I drive my students with Akeelah and the Bee first.

I introduce big words to my learners, I make them pronounce each word correctly while listening to same words audio sounds.

Then I make my students spell loud and clearer.

Having taught them page opening in a dictionary, I make them open to a word at a time, they write out the meanings in their vocabulary exercise books. I make them read out the meanings to each word every time.

I make my students repeat this procedure everyday.

It is different from Spellings. Spellings is just a part of vocabulary development. Then I guide the students to use the words in sentences of their own.

I have recorded victory in my students especially in Loyola Jesuit School, Abuja (Verbal Skills).
