Understanding Verbal Reasoning and its applications forms the bedrock for quite a number of successes in English grammar, lexis and structure, spelling and above all, logical English.
In my years of tutoring, I have helped young minds develop their capacity to communicate excellently using Verbal understanding.
One other thing thing that I do help young minds to achieve is that I help to build their innate capacity for critical thinking and problem solving. When they understand how words are formed; their roots and possibly history that led to the meaning of some words etc., they tend to appreciate and properly apply these words as they see them fit.
