Reading is an important aspect of a child's development. And Phonics is an important way to achieve that. Phonics teaches the relationship between letters and sound, it helps a child to read and spell words. Phonics help children who are just beginning to read understand how letters are linked to sound and spelling patterns, it also helps them apply this knowledge to their reading.

As an experienced tutor, I approach my teaching by associating sounds with letters and devise different methods to teach children of different ages and classes. I am experienced with both the Nigerian and British Curriculum, having taught as a private home tutor for over a year.

I make use of teaching aids to show children the different examples of vowels and consonant sounds. These will help to ease their learning process. I also make sure to study the child so I can tailor my lesson to suit their needs. I am very patient with and understand my student.

When you book lessons, Farida will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Lugbe, Abuja to deliver lessons.
