Most children do not like Mathematics because they do not understand its importance, General Mathematics is more than just calculations, it helps to develop skills for later life and improve analytical thinking. As a result, the need for a good foundation in Mathematics at this early stage is important, and as such a patient and experienced tutor who will deploy the best teaching method to ensure that the subject is well understood and the course of learning enjoyed. With over a year's experience, I believe I fit this role.

I have had the experience of teaching General Mathematics as a private home tutor for over a year, and I have achieved successful results with my students. Most students believe they hate Math and are not good at it, but I have been able to help one of my students move from hating Math to loving it and excelling in her exams.

When I first meet my students I take some time to study them, so I can ascertain what teaching style best suits them and also use tests to assess their level of understanding, that way I tailor my classes to meet their needs. I make sure to know the textbooks and syllabus used in their school. I also strive to make the learning environment friendly, so they can be free to relate well and ask questions.

When you book lessons, Farida will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Lugbe, Abuja to deliver lessons.
