Elementary mathematics deals with calculations and also analytical problems which helps to develop a child's analytical mind, as such it is necessary to develop this skill at an early age. Children need extra attention in mathematics because of their usual disinterest in the subject, hence the need for an experienced tutor who will help develop them with care and illustrative mode of teaching to ensure the child understands and develop a keen interest in Mathematics.

I have had the opportunity of teaching Mathematics for over a year, I have helped children with their termly and terminal examination with marked success in their result and also seen them form a liking for Mathematics.

I believe no child is bad in Maths, they just require extra attention and a different style of teaching. So I take some time to establish a friendly relationship with the child in other to ascertain their method of learning and speed of understanding, so I can tailor my lessons to meet the child's needs. I also make use of illustrative aids to help them learn.
