I am a Diction teacher who has bagged a professional certification in Diction(Phonics and Phonetics) from Quints Diction class, Lagos.

I have had about six years of teaching experience in the field and I have been able to help my learners master the act of:
(1) blending sounds to form words (through Jolly Phonics) which enables them to read excellently well.
(2)transcribing words effectively,
(3)stressing words correctly and
(4) pronouncing words correctly.

The above has been done with an interactive class method which has allowed my learners to learn enthusiastically.

My teaching aid for Phonics/Phonetics includes both audio and visual clips as children learn more by imitating that which they have heard or seen.

Esther also teaches:

Social Studies, Literacy & Numeracy, Literature in English, English Language, English Grammar, Phonics

Levels taught: Nursery, Primary, Jss, Sss, Undergraduate and Adult

Teaching Curriculum: Nigerian, British

In the British curriculum, students are taught to learn by questioning, problem-solving and creative thinking rather than by the mere retention of facts,which the Nigerian's Curriculum specialises on.

When you book lessons, Esther will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Lekki to deliver lessons.
