Teaching Basic Sciences to young children can be very exciting as there are so many interesting topics and subjects to cover. Children are naturally curious and excited as to how nature works and science has a way of intriguing them. From volcanoes to mountains to space to electricity to plants, children want to know what makes the world tick and being able to teach them and help them explore these questions they have about nature is what I love doing.
As a science teacher, I would not just explain concepts and ideas to them, but help them explore these concepts and arrive at their own solutions and ideas. The point of this is to encourage critical thinking and creative problem solving as these are skills that will be invaluable when they grow older.
I don't want to stifle their learning by always providing them the answers. I want to teach them how to arrive at the answers by themselves. Academic independence is a skill that they would come to appreciate when they get older.
Science is a lot of fun and children need to be able to enjoy it in order to learn from it.

When you book lessons, Elizabeth will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Jabi to deliver lessons.
