Teaching the kindergarten class means being responsible for teaching very young children basic skills that will help prepare them for elementary school grades.

I am able to assess where each child is academically and emotionally in order to set goals for individual students. Most kindergarten students are experiencing school for the first time, so I teach basic skills in reading and writing which includes learning the alphabet and their sound. I also help them to learn about numbers, how to write them, and how to count. I ensure children are having fun while they learn, so I use colorful pictures, songs, rhymes, etc.

I am able to manage classroom behavior and work with parents to ensure that students are succeeding and have proper foundations for their future learning.

Using the British curriculum improve my methods, strategies and styles of teaching, hence, I'm proficient in teaching KS1, KS2 and KS3.
