Handwriting Improvement

I have a teaching experience of 9years in Early Years and Primary Education. I believe muscle memory is important for anything we do, even writing with pen, pencil and paper. If you don't have regular practice, you're going to have a harder time writing neatly. Taking 20-25 minutes each day to write neatly and slowly can vastly improve your handwriting. As a tutor, I engage different characteristics of handwriting such as Line quality, Alignment, Size, Spacing, Connecting strokes, Pen lifts, Pen pressure and Slant to teach students who have difficulty in writing legibly. I have assisted a large number of students to improve their handwriting and reading as a whole.

As a tutor, I follow the British and American curriculum but teaching is based on themes I pick myself. I embed objectives from the curriculum in order to ensure coverage, depth, challenge and engagement. I include cross-curricular links so that the children can put their knowledge into practice.
