As a qualified English and Communication Skills Teacher, I have a teaching experience of 6years in Early Years and Primary Education. Presently, I am running a PGD in Education. I create my lesson plans to benefit the needs of each individual pupil/student.
As a tutor, I am able to teach students how to reason and apply simple numerical concepts which consist of comprehending fundamental arithmetics like addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
However, Literacy is as important as Numeracy. I expose children to literacy skills needed for reading and writing. They include such things as awareness of the sounds of language, awareness of print, phonemics, spellings and the relationship between letters and sounds. So far in my career as a Tutor, I have groomed 18 pupils as well as students. Honestly, they always emerge the best.
