As an MBA graduate as well as an engineering graduate - I know the value of Computer science in our world today; I have explored this field.

I have several years of experience in teaching Computer Science and making it a subject to be loved as well as for value addition.

I have taken and taught several courses in Computer studies.
When it comes to Computer Studies - I use the Practical approach as this is a sure-fire way to enable students to not only grab the concept but also for it to stick and become a part of them; more still I use lots of videos tutorials, give exercises (Do It Yourself) as well.
When I teach Computer Science - any individual will enjoy learning. Also, I have done a lot of courses on Coursera and edX in this field (Analytics, IBM Professional cert, etc).

I have taught this subject to High School students in Fortune High School, students in FUTO, also volunteered in teaching the subject during Eagles HOPE C.I.T.Y (Catch and Inspire Them Young) Summer school, also in LightHaven educational services - I have taught this subject.

My approach to teaching this subject - is to, first of all, understand what level my student is currently in - in terms of the subject's knowledge; then I will ascertain the knowledge gap - via assessment; and finally, try to know what method works best for the particular student (some students love stories, some love hands-on, some like games, some love to do plenty of exercises before grasping the basic concepts). When they make mistakes, I always try to encourage them and not to make them feel inadequate; I do not go right away with bombarding my students with theories - no! but rather I try as much as possible to check and build their foundation in the basics of Computer Science.

I use resources from Khan Academy, Textbooks (especially from their school), and YouTube videos, to teach my students.

The three curricula listed above have much similarities being learner-centred. From my experience, they all have the same content, but differ in style of delivery, as well as the mode and pace of learning. I'm familiar with, and have taught students whose schools adopted these curricula.
