Why do we read? To know that we're not the only ones in the world; that although we're all different with distinguishable experiences and perspectives, we're somehow better because we've identified with these experiences and perspectives. I love literature and from there flows my method. It's pertinent that my students are involved in the literary conversation. Literature is culture. Literature is music. Literature is food . Literature is fashion. Literature is religion. Literature is family. Literature is history. Literature is politics. Literature is language. This is the essence of literature: to know ourselves and our environment and try to be the best versions of both.
