I believe that mathematics and basic arithmetic is one of the scariest names school children won't always want to hear. I feel it's because of the way many teachers handle the subject.

For me, I have taught school children especially those in the upper primary and junior secondary levels, and see them enjoy and appreciate arithmetic for the first time. The key to this is what I offer anytime I teach a child, basic arithmetic.

In one of the schools I taught, I initiated the Math Foundation Club, just to help school children in this area.
