I like to think of myself as a natural born communicator and I believe this innate quality has been enhanced by my time at University of Lagos where I got a B.A in English and an M. A. in Literature.
Currently, I teach English and Literature at Whitesands School, Lekki where writing forms a core part of the curriculum. Apart from the classroom, I am currently at the head of the editorial board of The Sail, which is a periodic anthology of creative writings of Whitesands students. My job entails encouraging and guiding the the students to produce good quality creative write ups and to select the and publish the outstanding works from the mass of submissions.
Finally, I believe that writing is an art form that is best acquired through practice and my method with my students entails tasking them to undertake extensive writing assignment from different angles. Over the years, this approach has proven effective with my students and all I have had to do always is to tailor my lessons according to my each students peculiar needs and circumstances.
