I like to think of myself as a natural born communicator/teacher and I believe this innate quality has been enhanced by my time at University of Lagos where I got a B.A in English and an M. A. in Literature.

Currently, I teach English and Literature at Whitesands School, Lekki where writing forms a core part of the curriculum. Apart from the classroom, I am currently at the head of the editorial board of The Sail, which is an anthology of creative writings of Whitesands students. My job entails encouraging and guiding the students to produce good quality creative write ups and to select the and publish the outstanding works from the mass of submissions.

Having garnered over five years experience teaching Literature-in-English in various schools in Lagos, I pride myself in being able to appreciate each of my students as a unique individual, appreciating their peculiar needs and challenges while tailoring my lessons to address these needs and help the student to excel.
