Back in school, Home Economics was indeed my best subject. This is because it involves home management and as a prospective mother, I enjoy acquiring knowledge to further the growth of my home.

The students I taught during my service year in a Private School were properly grounded in the field of Home Management and they enjoyed the descriptive classes I grounded them in.

Basically, I break down Home Management as much as I can with life applicable events so as to make the child who is more of a visual learner understand and assimilate better. For example, when teaching about the steps involved in the proper cleaning and maintenance of homes, I usually ask the students to practice cleaning (picking up trash, paper litters, organizing shelves, etc) their classrooms hands-on to make them quite knowledgeable about the actual rudiments involved in keeping a home.

I would work with your ward with the necessary school resources (textbooks given, etc) but I would also ensure that they get to put into practice what I teach them at home and follow -up on that.

Cheta also teaches:

When you book lessons, Cheta will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Dolphin Estate to deliver lessons.
