Basic Mathematics
I am a graduate of Computer Engineering from the University of Benin, I excelled majorly in numerical analysis, statistics, probability and combinatorial mathematics. I particularly love how statistics helps us shape global decisions, how combinatorics and algorithms shape our lives and the lot. I am particular about teaching the younger generation that your brain is more superior to the calculator hence i have never owned one all through University.
However naturally the love for numbers may come to me, I am not alien to the struggles of many kids. Mathematics is the devil iheard one say the other, iwished he knew better. I've found ways to incorporate certain life experiences into teaching the subject like using number of siblings for probability, statistics and combination questions.
In 2007, i taught my friends kids for free, they are in university now and never fail to recount their love for the approaches iIsee to make them love the dreaded Mathematics.
