More than 10 years experience

I am an experienced and certified IGCSE, WAEC, NECO, SAT and CHECKPOINT tutor. My teaching methodology is focused on building and boosting students' confidence in Mathematics. I take my time to demonstrate abstract mathematical ideas by using concrete objects, models, charts, graphs, pictures, and even posters. It helps my students to assimilate concepts and be creative in a more effective manner.

As a tutor, I make sure I remove the fear of Maths from the mind of my students. This I usually do by building on the skills they have mastered already. This will give them a sense of accompaniment. Not only have I taught for 11years, but I have also helped many weak students pass their external exams in flying colors. After teaching I engage my students in a routine practice session and corrective feedback. My teaching aids are put in place before the commencement of the lesson.

I once taught a Year 10 student who could neither read nor write well at the time of entry into my former school, but the child eventually passed out with flying colours and he is now a graduate of Mechanical Engineering from University of Lagos. There is another girl I coached back in 2010 in Lagos who will be graduating as a medical doctor this year. I also tutored yet another child who is now a student at Loyola Jesuit Abuja.

My relationship goes beyond a pen and a notepad. I do ensure that I am approachable and friendly and my students relate to me freely.

When you book lessons, Busuyi will usually travel anywhere at most 10km (~ 1hrs drive ) from Dutse to deliver lessons.
