In the past 5 years, I have succeeded in helping students achieve excellence in the five (5) major areas in English Language, which includes:
Comprehension
Writing
Grammar
Spelling.
I have winning and effective strategies specific to students according to their classes and lesson purposes. Some of the purposes that I have worked with includes:
1. Improvement in answering and acing comprehension questions in 11+ (plus) examinations, IGCSE examinations, Checkpoint examinations, BECE, WAEC, standard school exams.

2. Improvement in creative writing and essay writing.

3. Improvement in Spelling and vocabulary.

4. Improvement in English Grammar and speaking.

Proven Winning Strategies with Results:

1. Setting a realistic goal on achieving a dream grade and score with the parent
2. 30 minutes session of goal setting, specific and tailored to the examination and factoring the date of the exam. This is an important step I take with my student because it is important for my student to know that there is a price to pay. The higher the value of the grade/score, the higher the required input from the student. This step also activates an intrinsic motivation in my students to work smart.
3. Independent Continous Practice (ICP): Lesson sessions are not enough time to get my student to the desired grade. I do not stop at my lesson sessions, I create a study guide to facilitate student's independent learning and continuous practice. This also requires that my student give me feedback on what they have done, which I have designed in the task that I assign to students for ICP.
4. Use of Past Questions & Sample papers: A smart approach towards targeted exam preparation is the use of Past Questions to practice and learn.
5. Use of Flashcard, Acronyms & Keywords to remember complex concepts.
6. Gamification & Interactive Learning: I do this to apply active learning. While I apply this, my student is involved in the learning process & motivated to score more points.

When you book lessons, Bunmi will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Ikoyi to deliver lessons.
