When the subject first started being taught in primary schools, it appeared very strange and unwelcome in the Nigerian curriculum. Now, phonics has been understood to be the very core of pronunciation and articulation in English language and hence should not be taken for granted.

The subject holds a dear place in my heart for a number of things, one of which is the difficulty pupils faced and still face understanding it. Much like short-hand to some, it is that part of English almost no one cares to understand. For that reason I sought to understand it and I did. I remember just sitting for hours with my dictionary checking for the transcription of words and transcribing a whole lot of words just because.

I trained myself to the level where I can train/teach people appreciate and truly understand phonics. My style of teaching phonics is simple I link the symbol with its appropriate sound. It really isn't complicated. Hire me, let's work on your phonics.
