Literacy and Numeracy is needed in order to function fully in life. Being numerate means being able to reason with numbers and other mathematical concepts and to apply these in a range of contexts and to solve a variety of problems. Literacy is the ability to read, write, speak and listen in ways that will make you communicate effectively. This I relate to my student and help them in reading through identifying letter sounds, letter formation, blending so as to work out simple words,spelling tricky words.
