The study of quantitative reasoning is aimed at imbibing in students fundamental numerical skills. I have made students understand these basic mathematical principles and solve related questions by tutoring them on how to reason quantitatively through decontextualization, which is, taking problem situations into symbols or a number sentence. They tutored to anaylse the problem at hand and see the best possible way(s) the problem can be solved.

I employ the use of critical thinking so that tutees can know what a question wants from them in terms of solution, what they will need to solve the question and how to point out if they have taken any worng steps whatsoever. I was successful at these and a particular parent insisted that I spend more time with her kid. I, also, have the skills to adjust to students' learning paces and skills so concepts can be well grasped and understood by them. Thank you.

It is very similar to the Nigerian curriculum with respect to concepts but a bit different in terms of analysis. I am attuned to it and find the range of questions interesting and helpful for my students' preparations. Also, the concepts are well set out and explained using friendly language.
