I am deeply humbled to have you scrutinize this exposition of mine on Basic Science tutoring yet glad that your ward deserves to be tutored by a tutor who plies his trade in an unparalleled way. I have at least 7 years of experience teaching the subject to young high school learners and serving as Head of the Department of science and coordinator of Junior Engineers, Technicians, and Scientists (JETS) club.

I recognized the importance of the subject from my early years such that when the opportunity to teach it presented itself, I took it with both arms. The demonstrative language I use continues to inspire young learners notably among them are the various projects we undertook in the Junior Engineers, Technicians and Scientists (JETS) club such as the construction of electrical junction boxes by lower secondary school students, prototype for the school new building and the fabrication of a pumping machine.

Worthy of mention are those who progressed into science classes after junior school (the least grade was a credit) and the icing on the cake was Nicole and Valerie, both of Aduvie International School, who took top prizes (A*s) in science (in less than a session in their new school) under my tutelage. I literally turned the space for their weekly classes into a mini-laboratory. Ditto, the use of Information Communication Technology remains a key ally.

I tailor my instructional language to my tutees' needs, use demonstrative and relative language to make science come alive in them. I can confidently state that the outcome has been some highly strengthened investigative, problem-solving, and analytical skills. I make them apply scientific contexts to nonscientific ones thereby reflecting the real world. Thank you for your time.

It is very similar to the Nigerian curriculum with respect to concepts but a bit different in terms of analysis. I am attuned to it and find the range of questions interesting and helpful for my students' preparations. Also, the concepts are well set out and explained using friendly language.
