English is not just a subject but a language of communication. A good and sound grasp of it goes a long way to determine how far a child would go. I have over 7 years teaching the English language to Primary school pupils and Junior secondary school students. I have taught various aspects of English from phonics to reading, speaking, listening and writing. The eight parts of speech are key to the aforementioned aspects.

My teaching style ensures that my pupil/student have a very sound understanding of the figures of speech with various illustrations of their applications. A very important and easy to understand textbook I use is the Brighter Grammar(Book 2-Book 6). There is none of my students/pupils that I have recommended it for that does not fly high in English.

I also engage them in a lot of composition and essay writing, comprehension reading etc.
I have had excellent results in the English language from clients I have taught their children.
Furthermore, I make use of the Google classroom which makes collaborative learning easier for my students.

I can give assignments, grade them, set deadlines and they can turn in assignments via the Google Classroom. I can also share relevant materials, videos, and slides via Google classroom even when I'm not physically with my students. With the Google classroom, my students get more involved in learning by themselves.
Sometimes I could recommend suitable and relevant textbooks to aid learning.
I also give assignments, we attempt available past exam questions etc just to ensure my students always well prepared.
Parents should provide relevant textbooks and writing materials.

Though optional, parents can provide internet enabled phone, computer or laptop to facilitate digital learning via Google classroom.
