More than 3 years experience

I have been teaching the English Language for the past 8years and I have been a writer for Acitizen (an online space for individuals who aim to be social workers or are already one) for 3years now.

I write on social and global issues weekly and as well as draft proposals for approved projects. It has been an impactful experience as I have always had to be at the top of my game by updating myself with new knowledge in the vocabulary world, be more observant, improve my communication skills thereby always providing me an opportunity to master 'The English Language'. In being able to master this language, acts like reading and writing has proven to be effective in improving one's communication skills.

Materials like newspaper, crossword, scrabbles, magazines, dictionary, novels, word card games have been overly useful in improving my reasoning, spellings, grammar, punctuation use, creativity, and communication.

I have had to use this method and set of materials for a grade 3 student of Saint Saviours School, Ebute meta which improved her English, I also had to prepare a grade 6 student of Our Lady Of Apostles, Yaba for her Entrance exam into both Lagoon Secondary School and Baptist Girls Academy and she did not only passed but did excellently well.

I started my teaching career in 2010 at Nitel staff school where teaching was basically done with the Nigerian Curriculum, I taught at the primary level for two years after which I moved to Holbrook schools which is a Montessori school where both the Nigerian and British curriculum is used.
