I have been teaching Verbal Reasoning for the past 8years and I consider this one of the interesting and fun subjects for kids. This is because it includes a lot of activity and looks quite simple but it is very easy to make mistakes and this makes a lot of students lose interest. Verbal Reasoning is critical thinking and it aids problem& creative solving skills in children.

To make this interesting for my students I practicalize most activity, use videos to describe objects, use stories to describe events and create imaginary pictures to make the activity more relatable, this makes them want to think. It makes them want to vocalize their thoughts and feelings and during this various activity, it makes it easy for them to arrive at the correct answer. It has worked for many of my students and it still working for them.

Verbal Reasoning can be relatable for anyone by making the questions more vivid.

I started my teaching career in 2010 at Nitel staff school where teaching was basically done with the Nigerian Curriculum, I taught at the primary level for two years after which I moved to Holbrook schools which is a Montessori school where both the Nigerian and British curriculum is used.
