My observation working with children in primary school and junior secondary school is that there are many different ways of teaching the English language. Unfortunately, the textbook styles of learning are not one of the most effective ways. The activity-based approach has proven to be the most productive.

Teaching is the most important part of a Child's life and as such must be treated with extreme caution by so doing as a teacher you must have the aptitude to remain flexible, ensuring that every child's learning styles and abilities are addressed all these I do professionally, also demonstrating the ability to consistently individualize instruction, based on student's needs and interest.

Over the years this has helped the children I have taught to do exceptionally well in both internal and external English language exams.

That's why I encourage parents to:
1. read with their children.
2. encourage their children to read widely.
3. read over their written work with them.
4. encourage their wards to write outside of schoolwork by making them write letters to family members.
