I am an empathetic and enthusiastic maths tutor with over 1000 hours of experience. Parents have consistently commented on my ability to inspire and build excellent rapport with their children.

In all my tutorials, I endeavor to cultivate the untapped potentials that can be difficult to unlock in the formal and hierarchical school environment. More so, my experience as a tutor and observations in schools have also given me a strong insight into how to develop a form of pedagogy that is congenial to tutorials but not irreconcilable with classroom teaching.

Teaching methods:-

i. Long term tutoring for quantitative reasoning

ii. Last minute tuition to boost weaker areas and gain exam/mark-scheme specific knowledge and techniques

iii. Extra work/ past questions set alongside school work during the week to provide additional practice and reinforcement of subject knowledge

iv. Vacation tuition to either get ahead of the coming term/year or to catch and brush up on previous content.

I have 5 years of productive experience working as a private tutor in the area of maths, biology and chemistry using both British and American curriculum. I have been able to successfully tutor over 70 students to pass various international exams. I use practical approach in teaching students.

Lessons hold at your home

When you book lessons, Andrew will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Surulere to deliver lessons.
