More than 3 years experience

I have been opportune to teach 10 students who excelled in English. I succeeded by using my knowledge as a trained teacher, a writer and with the aid of their textbooks used in their school curriculum. I teach subjects such as Mathematics, English language, Physics and all subjects taken from Primary to Senior Secondary School One (1). I have been able to help prepare students for common entrance and JSSCE.

As a graduate of the department of Physics Education from the University of Benin, I have been trained to know the various teaching methods necessary for every student. My experience as a trained teacher with three years of rich teaching experience with the Nigerian and British curricula has given me the opportunity and ability to not only impact knowledge successfully but also see my students attain the desired results and make their parents proud.

I have had some excellent results with students who had histories of poor performances. I strive to instill the love of learning and to make learning exciting and interesting. I also have experience in the ability to understand each student unique requirements, tutoring, arranging daily activities, keeping student-organized and assisting them to achieve as much as they can.

I was awarded as the Best teacher at Florek Salvation Nursery and primary school in 2016 due to my commitment and teaching style which brought about a positive change in the student's results. My goal for every teaching session is to make sure that my students not just learn but understand and can apply what they have been taught. I give class works during lessons and home works after lessons in order to know the progress of the students, I give feedback regularly to the student(s)'s parents so they can know the student(s) weak points and strength in order to help the child get better.

My teaching style involves demonstrating each topic by giving examples relating to their immediate environment, I go the extra mile to discuss the topics with the student and give classwork related to the topic immediately.

I am confident that my experience and skills will be an asset to your kid's learning and development.

The British curriculum is divided into Early years foundation(3-5years) and Five key stages(5 - 11years). Using this curriculum to teach broadened my knowledge of teaching because of its flexibility. I noticed it allowed for more active participation of the students during teaching.

Lessons hold at your home

When you book lessons, Akpukpula will usually travel anywhere at most 5km (~ 30mins drive ) from Ogba to deliver lessons.
