Basic Mathematics

The first thing is to create the impression that mathematics is simple and easy to understand, with this fear for mathematics difficulties will be minimize and the motivation to learn will be high, with aim that my Lesson tutor said is simple.
My past experiences with students is that students believe mathematics is very difficult and not easy to understand which is not true but the real fact about it is how to deal with each student varies to how each of them respond that is why a fixed method will not appropriate when each student level of understanding is different.
In this case, the first thing i do is to observe my student in order to determine the speed rate at which he or she understands with this I will be able to prepare a lesson plan that will suite the timing and the scheme of work to cover
I never assume my student should understand a particular topic or a calculation because it is of a negative action of a tutor to always assume a student understand a topic when his or her knowledge has not been tested over it
Lastly, I make sure I give my student assignment on the topic we have learnt to test his or her level of understanding on the topic and with this ideology I will be able to improve the performance of my student academically and also increase their love for mathematics
