I am an upbeat, positive English teacher with lots of energy. I have taught English to both Junior and Senior Secondary School students.

Equipped with the Communicative Teaching Method, I employ this technique through interactive, one-child activities that maximize my “student talk time.” I scaffold my lessons so that my students are deeply engaged in speaking, grammar, writing, listening, and reading, which appeal to diverse learning styles. Overall, I help them improve their articulation and fluency across key skill areas.

I aspire to create a fun, engaging learning environment for my students, and I would relish the opportunity to do this with you/your ward.

A few of my other teaching highlights include:

• Recognized as an outstanding teacher by the Shadrach's Model College PTA in 2017, where I successfully increased writing and reading comprehension test scores by 17% over 4 months

• Possess an ability to convey complex information in an understandable way for my students to comprehend

• Continually facilitate an open, consistent, and nurturing learning environment where students are motivated to learn and driven by their own successes and accomplishments.

• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies, including
- whole/small group instruction,
- individualized attention,
- inquiry-based learning, and
- exploratory learning in order to make sure my students are successful in Oral, Written and Reading aspects.
