Reading is one of the most important aspects of any child’s development. Phonics is a great way to start your child off down a successful path. It teaches the relationships between letters and sounds. Children often struggle with reading because they are not able to distinguish the sounds in the alphabet in connection with the words they are reading.

As a tutor, I use a different approach to teaching by associating sounds with letters or sets of letters in an alphabetic writing system. This style of teaching makes it easier for your child to recognize sounds in words which ultimately will help their spelling abilities. Phonics is a fantastic way for your child to learn how to read but it has to be done right. To make sure this happens, you need to hire me so that I can help with your child’s particular needs.
