Based on current technological advances, computer science is very useful and valuable. Many of the principles involved can be used in personal life as well as in a career. The computer has almost taken over every mode of communication, this implies that individuals with little or no knowledge of computer may stand no chance to deal effectively with matters arising in such technology is driven environment and this is why it is important everyone has a knowledge of computer science.

As a tutor and with my experience over the years, I have developed teaching strategies that facilitate assimilation and easy retention for a lifetime. I take a holistic approach to my role as a tutor and aim to help my students not only learn the curriculum or prepare for examination but also to become independent and self-assured.

I encourage my students to be goal-oriented and maintain enthusiasm and motivation by establishing clear attainable milestones, which strike a balance between challenging them and also developing confidence.

I teach Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. My knowledge of programming is a value-added service. Thank you
