Literacy and Numeracy are subjects introduced to pupils in their primary or early-stage or class before advancing to secondary class. These subjects are fundamental subjects which help to build learners in their ways of how to tackle or solve Mathematics and interpret problems in English studies at higher grades and levels.

Literacy is about a relationship with reading, speaking, and writing. Literacy also includes such things as awareness of the sounds of language, awareness of print, and the relationship between letters and sounds.

Numeracy is the ability to access, use and interpret and communicate mathematical information and ideas, to engage in and manage the mathematical demands of various situations at a higher level (secondary level in particular). To be numerate is to confidently and effectively use mathematics to meet the everyday demands of life.

I have 3 years working experience teaching literacy and numeracy at schools and I've taught many students to excel in these subjects to promote to the next class of attainment. I've also been able to tutor learners to prepare them for quizzes, external examinations or common entrance examinations. And I assure you there won't be any regrets hiring me as your tutor.

My methods of teaching these subjects vary based on what and how the students can learn at their own pace be it Montessori method, demonstration methods, etc. to ensure that teaching-learning processes take place.
