Literacy and Numeracy are the foundation on which future knowledge is built upon. As a primary school teacher with over five years of experience teaching literacy and Numeracy at the Nursery, lower, and upper primary level. I have a resounding proficiency in teaching these subjects.

My lessons are usually well planned out and fun. I use teaching aids and resources easily found in the environment to ensure active and relatable learning takes place.

I have helped children in my years as a Literacy and Numeracy teacher, develop a love for these subjects. I ensure basic learning goals like learning Numbers, Alphabets, reading, writing, speaking, listening, spellings, phonemic awareness, and manipulation of numbers are met.

I have developed excellent learners, who can identify, write and recite their numbers and Alphabets, solve basic Math operations, read, write, and comprehend simple texts, make up simple sentences, decode phonemes, and spell as a result of my method of teaching, experience, and hardwork.

I help learners perfect their literacy, which ensures that learners can decode phonemes, spell, make up simple sentences, using the correct words and properly punctuated write-ups become the standard. My approach is that of excellence and progress with every learner.

In Numeracy, I ensure that all basic operations in Mathematics are taught and mastered by learners. I also use problem solvers in Numeracy to encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

My teaching style is child-centered, firm, efficient, results, and performance-based, tailored to fit the child's learning style and academic goals. I also ensure that children can think for themselves and figure answers out with less input as our lessons progress so as to develop independent learners.

I have recorded 100% success in helping learners achieve their Numeracy and Literacy goals within a reasonable time frame. As well as carefully deliver and implement their curriculum, be it Nigerian, British, and American.
