As digital technologies become increasingly entrenched into our world, the conversation surrounding when and how to teach computer science is becoming increasingly important. Computing continues to be one of the fastest growing fields, yet computer science is rarely part of children’s core education. I believe that giving students opportunities to explore the computing world and learn key computing and information and communication technology skills is critical to supporting their academic success and beyond. I guide and teach kids to imagine the computing world as a fun and collaborative environment. Students gain the hands-on skills they need to become technology creators and problem solvers.

With this curriculum, I teach my students to learn by questioning, problems solving and creative thinking rather than by the mere retention of facts, hence giving them analytical and creative thinking skills that they will need. I design a variety of teaching and assessment methods to their minds.
