All children need love, encouragement, and support, and for kids with learning disabilities, such positive reinforcement can help ensure that they emerge with a strong sense of self- worth, confidence, and the determination to keep going even when things are tough.
I look for ways to help them help themselves. I give children with special needs the social and emotional tools he or she needs to work through challenges. In the long run, facing and overcoming a challenge such as a learning disability can help the child grow stronger and more resilient.

With this curriculum, I teach my students to learn by questioning, problems solving and creative thinking rather than by the mere retention of facts, hence giving them analytical and creative thinking skills that they will need. I design a variety of teaching and assessment methods to their minds.
