Adekola , a certified maths tutor, strives to determine underlying skills students struggle with, as well as their strengths, and then teaches accordingly.
Adekola fosters in his students a sense of independence and creativity in problem solving and study strategies. He's worked with a wide range of ages and math subjects, including standardized tests, like the SAT, GMAT. He takes a precise, yet patient, approach to his tutoring practice.
He keeps students engaged and gives feedback if he needs to explain something in a different way.
Work towards a 99th percentile score by practicing on actual SAT tests with targeted lessons and test strategies.
He provides actual past SAT tests for his students to take prior to the exam and analyze the results by section and content while identifying timing issues and tracking improvements. He then spend tutoring time sharpening the math skills required to improve his/her score while also visiting troublesome questions.
