Knowledge of how flow charts work, how number sequences and series are created and increased form the foundation of knowing and understanding how to deal with Quantitative Reasoning questions. If need be, we will treat such especially with regards to regular addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. I always decode problems together with my students because it's always fun that way. Also, problems in Quantitative Reasoning are always varied. Hence, forcing solutions on children never helps especially when the concepts are often varied. Even when I discover the solution to the problem, I make sure to introduce it to the child in such a way as to light a bulb in him or her.
